Okay, But Who Are We??

Okay, But What Do You Do? is based on a partnership between two people: one who knew what she wanted to do and one who didn’t. 

Audrey Elkus had the idea for OBWDYD when she was in college and trying to decide what she should do in life. She had many interests but wasn’t sure what jobs would actually suit her because the titles were vague and the descriptions read like indecipherable codes. 

Conversely, her friend Eleonora Saravalle was sure of her next steps. Even so, after some years pursuing them, she found her eyes wandering to other professions and ran into the same problem Audrey had all those years ago. 

We believe this site is as needed today as it was when we started it in college. And the amount of times we've texted or called each other after interviews to rave, “I learned so much!” simply reaffirms its value in our mind. We hope this information is as eye-opening to you as it is to us and that it helps you find your way in the world.
